About

Hi, I’m Mager.

I’m a software engineer in Chicago. I build AI agents, developer tools, and weird internet products, then write about what actually worked, what broke, and what I learned along the way.

Tech

Most of what I care about right now sits around agents, context, and software that feels alive. I’m interested in the practical layer, not just the demo layer: harnesses, memory, evals, workflows, and how you make AI actually useful inside a real product stack.

Life

Outside of code, I post the occasional travel note, family story, or thing I want to remember, but the center of gravity here is still building.

Cooking

I cook constantly. Soups, braises, rice, pasta, whatever I’m iterating on that week. Cooking and software scratch the same itch for me, small decisions compounding into something better when you pay attention.

You can find the projects on GitHub, the shorter thoughts on X, and the longer version of me in the posts here.
